Dr. Terry Flander D.O.
Dr. Terry Flander is a board certified family physician who has been in medical practice 30+ years. A native Iowan, Dr. Flander and his wife Becky have lived in Scottsdale since 2011. He has been the supervising physician for Camelback Medical Centers since July of 2017.
Upon graduating from Des Moines University (DMU) with his DO degree Dr. Flander practiced family medicine in Iowa. He also holds a Master’s in Public Health and a Master’s in Health Care Administration from DMU. Along with practicing medicine, Dr. Flander has worked for a number of large insurance companies. He is also currently the medical director for numerous Federal Employee Health Benefit Health Plans.
Terry and Becky have been married for 40 years, having been high school sweethearts prior to marriage. They have three grown children and three grandchildren who reside in Iowa. They enjoy visiting them often.
Dr James Nabzdyk DC
Dr. James Nabzdyk brings a wealth of experience to the Camelback team. He is very comfortable and confident working within the integrated approach to health care and is excited to share his skills with the community.
His career path actually began quite early in life when, as a young adolescent, he suffered from severe migraine headaches and digestive issues. His family was not familiar with chiropractic, so he was given traditional medical treatment which consisted of various medications, none of which seemed to help, much less solve the problem. After getting frustrated with this approach and noticing the correlation that his symptoms worsened when he ate certain foods, he decided to experiment on his own with various dietary alterations, and he began to feel better. He decided to utilize his interest and aptitude in science, combined with this personal life experience, to pursue and acquire a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University.
While in college he was introduced to the chiropractic profession, and through it found a vocation that would enable him to make a difference in the lives of others. As a practical chap, the chiropractic philosophy of discovering and treating the root cause of the problem proactively, and encouraging lifestyle change rather than merely reacting to symptoms and masking them with drugs, made total sense. He had to do something for a career that he believed in and could get behind. Consequently he enrolled in the National University of Health Sciences and obtained his doctorate in 1991. Since then he has attended a wide variety of postgraduate continuing education courses to develop a well rounded knowledge. And he continues to practice the healthy lifestyle he so strongly encourages.
He is passionate about educating his patients on how to take better care of themselves, and helping them understand the subluxation complex as to how it erodes one’s health. He also greatly enjoys working with kids because they are fun to treat, and because the disease starts early. The sooner good habits are learned and practiced, the better the outcomes for a healthier life.

Jin Kim NP-C
Jin has a rich background and experience in health care. She began her nursing career at Rush University Medical Center. While working full-time as a nurse, she obtained a degree in Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
At Camelback, she has been successful at helping her patients achieve their pain relief goals with trigger point injections, joint injections, and much more. She is dedicated to treating the individual as a whole, not just pain.
